Manuscript Topics

This Special Issue is devoted to population dynamics in epidemiology, immunology, and immuno-epidemiology, where the host species may be humans, other animals or plants. For human diseases, particular interest will be given to papers on dynamics that is influenced by human behavior, such as attitudes toward vaccination. Papers will focus primarily on modeling questions; that is, it is expected that there will be thoughtful and reflective consideration of appropriate assumptions and conclusions. While data analysis, proofs of theoretical results, and mathematical methods can be important components of the work, papers devoted primarily to these items are outside the scope of this issue.
