Manuscript Topics
Differential equations have played an important role in the development of mathematical biology. They are not only useful in understanding biological phenomena, but also include their own mathematical interests.
The aim of this special issue is to collect timely papers focusing on the theory and application of differential equations in mathematical biology. Potential topics include but are not limited to:
• Partial and/or ordinary differential equations in biology
• Reaction diffusion equations in biology
• Delay differential equations in biology
• Stochastic differential equations in biology
• Population dynamics
• Epidemic models
• Viral infection models
• Lotka-Volterra models
• Stability analysis
All papers will be carefully refereed. Papers based on the biological motivation are preferred, but more mathematical and/or technical papers are also welcome. There is no limitation of pages.
