Manuscript Topics

Dynamical disease refers to illnesses that are associated with striking changes in the dynamics of some bodily functions, such as the abnormal stem cell regeneration, microenvironment, evolution of gene mutations, metabolic systems, etc. Examples of these diseases include dynamical blood disease, cancer, aging, chronic disease, etc. In the last 40 years, there are many literatures in mathematics and physics which proposes mathematical models for the physiological system, and have been successful in helping us to understand the underling mechanism of these diseases. Over this time, the projects of big data analysis in medicine enable us to study the dynamical progress of these with from an aspect of real data. In this special issue, we hope to bring together model works with data analysis that can provide fresh perspective in the study of related areas. The editors particularly invited contributions in the following areas:

• Data analysis related to dynamical disease
• Modeling the development of dynamical disease
• Computational models of cancer development
• Models of drug resistance
• Modeling the progress of aging
• Modeling the microevolution process
• Models of cancer immunotherapy and autoimmunity
