Manuscript Topics
As cities continue to grow and face various challenges related to climate change, population density, air pollution, the role of urban green spaces in boosting urban resilience has become increasingly important. Urban green spaces offer a multitude of ecosystem services, including improved air quality, climate mitigation, food production and opportunities for recreation and community engagement. This special issue of Urban Resilience and Sustainability, edited by Dr Alessio Russo from the University of Gloucestershire, seeks to explore the multifaceted relationship between urban green spaces and urban resilience. We invite researchers and practitioners to contribute to this important dialogue by submitting their original research, case studies, and reviews.
