Manuscript Topics
Recently, there are many kinds of crop residues from agriculture, forestry, and farming. The utilization of these kinds of biomass would have promoted to mitigate global warming, to develop rural area, and to build recycling society. Actually, there were many kinds of researches on energy production from biomass, however, few research only connects to development of technology. Generally, bioresources have wide distribution without concentration in some area, therefore, the collection of bioresources are bad cost performance for one kind of energy such as ethanol. In here, various use of biomass such as utilization of by-products other than energy would be demanded. This special issue calls for papers on the topics about various utilization or cascade utilization of biomass not only to produce energy but also to produce by-products after fermentation such as animal feed or fertilizer.
