Aims Neuroscience is requesting paper submissions for our December issue. Manuscripts will need to be received by April 28, 2015, and decisions on acceptance will be completed by May 28. Regional variation in the shape and number of microglia in the adult brain suggests that local environmental cues can affect distribution and morphology of microglia. From a theoretical viewpoint, what purpose does this serve?
