Manuscript Topics
A bioprocess is any process that uses living cells or their components. The bioprocess may be used as a cleansing device to remove undesirable chemicals from the environment or as a route to manufacture desiable products. Bioprocesses have found applications across a diverse areas of engineering, science, and technology. They have been deployed in agriculture, biological treatment of wastewater, the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry. The study of bioprocesses sits at an industrial cross-roads with interest from a diverse range of disciplines. This has therefore stimulated much interdisciplinary research. This special issue will cover recent research advances in the mathematical modelling of bioprocesses, particularly in their applications. Researchers are invited to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that will lead to a greater understanding of the bioprocesses.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Evolutionary adaptive dynamics
• Mathematical epidemiology
• Microorganism dynamics and biochemical reaction models
• Modelling and analysis of population dynamics
• Molecular dynamics
• Numerical techniques for special problems in biological modelling

Paper Submission
All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
The deadline for manuscript submission is 31 January 2020.
