Manuscript Topics
Bacteria have a diversity of cell surface, which plays a crucial role in the maintenance of cell shape. The editor is also interested in L-form, protoplast, and spheroplast of bacteria. This special issue welcomes contributions related to this topic with established and updated studies about the following areas:

(1) Variety of bacterial cell surfaces
(2) Biosynthesis systems of cell wall, outer membrane, and/or plasma membrane
(3) Regulational relations among the biosynthesis systems
(4) Structure of cell wall, outer membrane, and/or plasma membrane
(5) Others related to bacterial cell surface

Paper submission
All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
The deadline for manuscript submission is August 31, 2019.
