Manuscript Topics
Principles of hemodynamics and bio- heat transfer have wide clinic relevant applications such as surgeries and drug delivery, which seeks to close the gap between engineering and biomedicine to advance health care treatment together with the design and problem-solving skills. However, it is almost impossible to obtain comprehensive hemodynamic and heat transfer processes through current measurement techniques. With the significant advances of computer capabilities and computational methods, mathematical modeling and numerical simulations play an increasingly important role in understanding the mechanisms of hemodynamics and bio- heat transfer. Accordingly, recent years have witnessed a growing research interest in developing new mathematical models and computational algorithms to facilitate clinic applications, such as parameter optimization and concept design of medicine and biology for healthcare purposes (e.g. diagnostic or therapeutic).

This special issue aims to present the latest advances and applications of computational techniques for bio- hemodynamics and heat transfer in biological tissue. We are interested not only in papers with original computational methods, but also in interdisciplinary works that contain clinical medical problems. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

• Bio-Fluids Dynamics
• Numerical methods in bio-heat transfer
• Bio-heat transfer in clinic surgery
• Hemodynamics
• Vascular Mechanics
• Patient-specific Modeling
• Fluid-structure Interaction
• Clinical Surgeries

Paper Submission
All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
