Manuscript Topics

It is well known that Number theory is one of the oldest and most important branches of mathematics, which is generally concerned with the properties of numbers. In recent decades, the study on number theory has progressed at an amazing rate on various aspects.

This special issue will focus on problems in analytic number theory, such as the distribution of primes, the Waring-Goldbach problem, Holomorphic forms, Maass forms, Kloosterman sums, exponential sums and applications, etc.  Also number theory has many applications in other branches of mathematics such as cryptology, physics, and so on. Further, its related concepts and ideas show great vitality and theoretical value, and have penetrated into many critical fields.

This special issue aims to provide a platform for researchers to share their original research in number theory and its applications. We sincerely hope that researchers in relevant fields can apply this opportunity to report their recent research results.
