Manuscript Topics
The scope of this special issue will cover recent advances in phase-field modeling and simulation for interfacial dynamics and related scientific computing problems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, mathematical analysis of phase-field models, energy-stable and structure-preserving numerical schemes, adaptive and efficient computational methods, curvature-driven flows, multiphase and multicomponent systems, image processing, materials science, biological applications, and other interdisciplinary applications of phase-field approaches. The special issue aims to provide a forum for researchers to present new theoretical results, robust numerical algorithms, and practical computational studies in this active research area.
