Manuscript Topics


The use of specific pieces of software in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is increasing nowadays. Different problems and situations require different technology approaches. Therefore, the use of appropriate technologies for the problem to be solved is very relevant and must be analyzed.


In this special issue we are interested in the use of Computer Algebra Systems (CAS), Dynamic Geometry Systems (DGS) or any other mathematical software and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in both: STEM Education and STEM Applications.


The following is a non-exhaustive list of topics for this special issue:
1. Advanced uses of CAS, DGS and ICT in STEM Education.
2. Development of new packages to increase the capabilities of specific CAS and DGS.
3. Applications of CAS, DGS and ICT in STEM.
4. New experiences, applications of new educational models and techniques in STEM Education in which the use of CAS, DGS and ICT are involved.
