Manuscript Topics

Since the twenty-first century, the world's energy structure has undergone profound changes, energy price has become more volatile and energy market has entered into a VUCA era, that is, volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. As a result, it is critical to further study energy market issues but more from a finance perspective. Indeed, the strategic importance of energy and green development makes financial issues more unique and relevant, which inevitably leads to further separation of energy finance from general financial research.


The Special Issue aims to encourage scholars to track the international frontiers in the field of energy finance. The purpose of the Special Issue is to promote innovative research and discipline development in the field of energy finance. In view of macro-theory and practical demonstration from the establishment of the green finance system and economy sustainable development. The main objective is to publish innovative articles which utilize relevant principles and theories to promote academic research. More cutting-edge creative achievements and forward insights in the field of energy finance are highly encouraged. Papers to be considered include but not limit to the following topics:
