Manuscript Topics
The special issue is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Dr. Eugenio Roanes-Lozano.
The goal of this Special Issue is to bring together a set of high-quality original research contributions describing applications of symbolic computation. They must be finished applications already concluded (that is, already designed, developed and implemented).
Any field of application is admitted: we could mention, although it is not intended to be an exhaustive list:
• algebraic geometry
• electric and electronic engineering
• transportation engineering
• logic
• verification and development of expert systems (based on symbolic computation)
• artificial intelligence
• statistics
• collaboration with dynamic geometry systems
• mathematics education
• discrete mathematics
• biology
New software pieces and new software packages (focused on the application of symbolic computation) are welcome (educational applications are included).
There is no restriction on the chosen software, apart from the fact that it can perform symbolic computations.
However, the role of the software must be key to the work described. The submission of purely theoretical works with a small computational calculation is discouraged. Classroom experiences are also not appropriate either.
