Manuscript Topics
From the earliest use of electricity by the enlightenment era pioneers to the present time, electronic instrumentation and measurement systems have been designed to investigate physical phenomena. They have formed part of a wide range of commercial, military and research systems. Latterly they have been used to control experiments as well, and to record and process data in real-time. This has become more prevalent since the development of inexpensive system on a chip microcontrollers.
This special issue encompasses all aspects of instrumentation and measurement system design irrespective of application. Common applications include but are not limited to the fields of engineering, physical sciences and medicine. The special issue editors especially seek novelty in the instrumentation design aspects of submissions, not only in the application of the instrument.
We invite authors to contribute original research articles that will illustrate and stimulate the continuing research and development of instrumentation and measurement systems. Articles with creative work in analogue design, digital design, circuit theory, embedded systems, digital signal processing, analytical analysis methods, numerical analysis methods and control methods related to instrumentation and measurement systems are welcome.
