AIMS Analytical Chemistry is an international open-access journal dedicated to publishing peer-reviewed, high-quality, original papers that cover all aspects and phases of Analytical Chemistry. In addition to full-length original research papers, the journal also accepts critical, comprehensive reviews addressing all aspects of fundamental and applied modern analytical chemistry.

Manuscripts that present fundamental research on all aspects of analytical chemistry theory and methodology are encouraged. This includes innovative instrumental, chemical and biological approaches, detectors and sensors, sample treatment methods and data treatment. The manuscripts should demonstrate new principles and/or important applications.

We encourage advancements in various technologies and applications, including but not limited to: analytical instrumentation, biomedical analysis, biomolecular analysis, biosensors, chemical analysis, chemometrics, clinical chemistry, drug discovery, applied microfluidics and nanotechnology, environmental analysis and monitoring, food analysis, forensic science, materials science, metabolomics, pesticide-residue analysis, pharmaceutical analysis, proteomics, surface science, and water analysis and monitoring.
