There are a huge number of microorganisms in the growth environment of plants, and there are complex interactions between them and host plants, which play an important role in plant growth and health. Some of these microorganisms are plant pathogens, which endanger plant health and crop production. Others provide benefits to the plant by supplying nutrients, synthesizing phytohormones, stimulating plant stress resistance or inhibiting pathogens. How to eliminate harmful pathogenic bacteria, protect beneficial microorganisms and enhance plant vitality is an important task for microbial researchers.
