Theme: Indoor pollutants and implication for human exposure
People spend majority of their times in various indoor environments including homes, schools and offices. Knowledge on presence of indoor pollutants therefore is important for assessing human exposure to these pollutants. This special issue reports original research and review on levels of various environmental pollutants, mainly volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), in different indoor environments, and on factors such as design and operation of ventilation, strategies to control source of pollutants and behaves of occupants that affect pollutant levels indoors. Topics on associations between exposure to indoor pollutants and health symptoms are also welcome.
