Manuscript Topics

The global push toward carbon neutrality has brought clean energy technologies and intelligent power systems to the forefront of energy transition. With renewable power generation expected to account for more than 40% of global electricity by 2030, challenges such as the intermittency of wind and solar power, the peak-valley load mismatch, and grid reliability have become increasingly urgent. While energy storage systems, smart grids, and low-carbon technologies have made remarkable progress in recent years, widespread adoption still faces bottlenecks including investment limitations, system integration complexity, material lifespan, and a lack of standardized protocols. In this context, the 4th International Conference on Clean Energy Storage and Power Engineering (CESPE 2025, http://www.iccespe.com/) will focus on the cross-innovation of “Clean Energy Storage and Power Engineering”, aims to address these interdisciplinary challenges by promoting innovative research on clean energy conversion, advanced storage systems, intelligent control, and sustainable power engineering. This special issue will showcase the most outstanding contributions from CESPE 2025, while also welcoming high-quality external submissions from those who did not attend the conference. We invite you and your colleagues to submit a contribution in the form of an original scientific research article for this Special Issue.
