This special issue focuses on Sports Health Engineering and the innovative application of sports technology to enhance athlete health, optimize training, prevent injuries, support recovery, and promote long-term well-being in both elite and recreational contexts. Recent advances in wearable devices, AI analytics, biomechanical modeling, and smart rehabilitation tools have opened new possibilities for personalized, data-driven approaches to sports health management. The special issue aims to showcase cutting-edge research that bridges engineering, health sciences, and sports practice to improve performance sustainability and reduce health risks.

Contributions are invited on original research, reviews, and case studies. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
