Manuscript Topics
We invite top researchers and authors to submit original research or comprehensive review articles for consideration for publication in a Special Issue "Bone Tiisue engineering: Tools, Strategies and Applications" in AIMS Bioengineering. These articles will be published in AIMS Bioengineering open access. Submitted papers should not be previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
Potential topics to be covered by the Special Issue include, but are not restricted to, the following:
• Tissue engineering new methodologies and tools for bone regeneration and healing
• Bone substitutes, materials and scaffolds with/without cells and tissues
• Advantages, and limitations of current healing models and methods
• Modelization and physical stimulation approaches
• Feasibility and selection criteria for grafting approaches
• Assessment of bone healing and tissue regeneration
