Aim and Scope

Aims

Networks and Heterogeneous Media is a rapid publication of applied math research that aims at solving problems on networks and heterogeneous media and more generally, complicated frameworks. NHM is thus devoted to research work on complex media arising in mathematical, physical, engineering, socio-economical and bio-medical problems. All contributions must be original research papers or invited surveys of expository nature of very high quality.

Scopes

Networks & Heterogeneous Media (NHM) offers a strong combination of three features: Interdisciplinary character, specific focus, and deep mathematical content. NHM publishes original contributions of high quality in networks, heterogeneous media and related fields. The journal aims to link various communities, including mathematicians, modelers from other sciences and engineering, and experts in artificial intelligence.
The journal covers multiple areas in general applied mathematics, including but not limited to
• Discrete and Continuous Dynamics,
• Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations,
• Stochastic Dynamics,
• Operations Research,
• Control Systems and Optimal Transport,
• Network Science,
• Mathematical Biology,
• Machine Learning
NHM is thus devoted to research work on complex media arising in mathematical, physical, engineering, socio-economical and bio-medical problems.
