Manuscript Topics
Molecular imaging has emerged as an important tool to study the live brain. It has opened a new avenue to understand neural function, and has helped formulate novel concepts on human cognitive and behavioral processing. It has also helped us understand neuropathology of psychiatric and neurological conditions. This understanding has allowed us to develop therapeutic strategies based on the objective data. Since molecular imaging techniques are particularly sensitive in detecting alterations in neurotransmission, these techniques have emerged as the primary tool to explore altered neurotransmission in the live brain.

Because molecular imaging is a relatively novel technique, its methodologies and applications are still being innovated. This innovation is the part of our excitement. In this issue, we solicit papers based both on methodology and application of molecular imaging techniques.
