Manuscript Topics
In the last two decades, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted lots of attention for their potentials of various applications including adsorption, separation, gas storage, catalysis, sensing, and electronic devices. This special issue aims at creating a multidisciplinary forum of discussion on recent advances in synthesis and exploration of the new class of porous materials and their applications in energy, environmental, and bio-related fields. This issue accepts high quality full articles and short communications containing original research results and review articles of exceptional merit.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to: CO2 capture, H2 and CH4 storage, propylene/propane and O2/N2 separation, water treatment using adsorptive properties of MOFs, immobilization of biomolecules in MOFs, heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, fluorescent sensor, and electronic devices based on MOFs.

Articles in this special issue will be published in AIMS Materials Science open access. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
