Manuscript Topics

The study of complex networks and graph theory is a rapidly evolving field with significant applications in a variety of disciplines, including computer science, biology, social sciences, and engineering. As these systems grow in complexity, understanding their mathematical properties becomes increasingly essential for advancing both theoretical research and practical applications.

This special issue invites contributions that explore the mathematical foundations, properties, and applications of complex networks and graph theory. We are particularly interested in innovative research that sheds light on the intricate structures and behaviors of graphs and related discrete structures.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of topics for this special issue:
• Mathematical analysis of complex network structures
• Combinatorial properties of graphs
• Algebraic and geometric theory related to graphs
• Spectral graph theory and its applications
• Graph-theoretical properties of complex networks
• Theoretical advances in understanding networks and graphs

We encourage submissions that offer new perspectives, introduce novel methodologies, or provide comprehensive reviews of existing approaches. This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research that pushes the boundaries of our understanding of complex networks and graph theory.
