Manuscript Topics

The interest in the modeling of complex systems has increased and interdisciplinary collaborations have been developed in order to gain a complete description of a complex system. Specifically, collaborations between mathematicians on the one hand and scholars coming from the natural sciences on the other hand have been productive. New modeling frameworks have been proposed and employed for the derivation of specific models.

This special issue is devoted to new contributions in the field of the mathematical modeling and specifically focuses on new mathematical structures and specific models for complex systems. Frameworks based on classical derivative and/or fractional derivative are welcome. Mathematical analysis, numerical methods, and simulations are the content of the papers of this special issue.
