After the 2008 financial crisis, the world increasingly developed fintech to facilitate financial transactions and deal with ppotential risks, especially the moral hazard and adverse selection caused by information asymmetry. As a result, it promotes the deep integration of information technology and finance. At the same time, the emergence of new technologies may provide approaches to green innovation. Leading fitech serving economic activities supportig environmental improvement, tackling climate change, resource saving and effcient use, is beneficial to investment, financing and operation for projects of environmental protection, low carbon, energy conservation, clean energies and so forth, driving sustainable development of green finance. The development of green finance will promote the continuous improvement of the environment and the continuous upgrading of the industry, which also brings a favourable environment for the development of fintech. Accordingly, the purpose of this special issue is to explore the possible scenarios of fintech serving green innovation from individual, corporate, marketable and regulatory levels. We further explore the roles of fintech in green technical innovation, green management innovation, green network supply chain, environmental evaluation and so forth.


Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
• The impact of fintech on green innovation
• The intermediate effect of fintech supporting green innovation
• Financing channels for corporate innovation with fintech
• Asset allocations of green enterprises through fintech
• The impact of fintech on green supply chains
• The impact of green fintech on energy efficiency
