Manuscript Topics

High quality data contributes to high quality research results. In this sense, quality data is a key factor for the provision of appropriate, cost-effective, and economically efficient health care services within healthcare systems that face multiple challenges. Evaluation and research results, which are crucial in tackling issues pertaining to clinical effectiveness, quality of care and economic efficiency, are often determined by inferior, missing, invalid or biased data. Consequently, this leads to decision-making in healthcare services that fails to yield the anticipated outcomes.
Based on the previous points and in light of the increased interest in automating data science based on artificial intelligence, this Special Issue attempts to highlight the importance and methods of Data Quality Assessment in Health Services Decisions.
Scientific and policy papers, both empirical and theoretical, from academicians and researchers are welcome.
