Manuscript Topics
One of the main objectives of the circular economy is to reduce waste and increase the use of renewable energy. The use of renewable energies in the different economic sectors could reduce the generation of waste. However, is it possible to achieve this goal and maintain economic growth? The three main actors in the economy, families, companies and governments must act in search of a sustainable economy trying to maintain economic growth. An analysis of how these actors incorporate the use of renewable energies in their activity can help to achieve this objective. In addition, the different productive factors related to economic growth could be analysed from the point of view of sustainability. A multidisciplinary analysis of the role of renewable energy in the circular economy can help make this a reality.
The following topics can be considered in this special issue:
• Renewable energies and circular economy
• Sustainability and economic growth
• Wellbeing economy and circular economy
• Tourism and renewable energies
• The role of stakeholders in the use of renewable energy
• Renewable energy management
Other research works related to the circular economy and renewable energy may be welcome.
