Manuscript Topics

Cell surface receptors provide a critical link between the extracellular environment and the cell interior. There is an urgent need to determine the structure, organization and dynamics of receptors in the complex environment of the cell membrane. Utilizing this fundamental knowledge will ultimately allow the design of better therapeutics against pathological conditions. We intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and comprehensive review articles for consideration for publication in a special issue “Cell Surface Receptors” in the AIMS Biophysics. These articles will be published in AIMS Biophysics open access free of charge. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
