Manuscript Topics

We invite top researchers and authors to submit original research or comprehensive review articles for consideration for publication in a Special Issue, "Extracellular vesicles in regenerative therapy and disease" in AIMS Bioengineering. These articles will be published in AIMS Bioengineering open access. Submitted papers should not be previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
Potential topics to be covered by the Special Issue include, but are not restricted to, the following:

• Novel approaches to apply EVs for tissue regeneration
• Tissue-engineered models of disease for EVs studies
• Applications of EVs as carriers for therapeutic applications
• Bioengineered-based technologies for isolation and characterization of EVs
• Advanced imaging tools for EVs characterization and tracking
